Library ruins

Library ruins are the collection of spell books from ancient wizards during their lifetime, after dying without anyone to continue with these libraries, they are abandoned with all that ancient knowledge.

They generate at the surface throughout the overworld. Normally containing some bookshelves and sometimes an imbuement altar with receptacles.

Generation

By default, library ruins are rarer than wizard towers, making them difficult to find. They can appear in all biomes.

They can come with some variations in the materials and content, some may contain more well-preserved spellbooks and others (most of the time) will have ruined spell books. You can also find some libraries that contain a working imbuement altar.
